Wild Red Fowl Game Chickens
Free Range Flock for 30+ years from the woods next to my Neighborhood on edge of Tallahassee
Over time I've had a small influence on them - 'extra' Roosters for example
However, they've basically been left alone to follow Nature's Design
Well, I'm preparing to move in the near future - but their future is in doubt if they stay here
Would be at the mercy of Urban Development, Loose Dogs, or Kids with BB Guns
Let's find them 'New Homes' - after that, about all they need is water
Hens - Top Roosters - Cheap ... Lower Roosters - Free ... 'Respectful Cull' Possible
Some 'Special Cases' ... Retired Grandfathers ... Good Pets
Mix/Match Family Groups in Flock ... About 40 Total ... Many Options Possible
Appreciate Your Patience in Process of 'Catch and Sort'
Now - this is not done for the money, but for their Value
So the more you get, the cheaper and free-er they get
In fact, if able to take them all, I might even pay you - smile
Please - Worthy Birds - Deserve Proper
Protection and Management
Verification Respectfully Requested - Thank You

3 Typical 'Grandfathers'

These are both the same group of 'Brothers/Cousins' - 2 or 3 years old
Are 3 main 'branches' of Flock - Front, Back, and Fringe - this is part of 'Front Yard Family'

This Guy is 'Cock of the Walk' in 'Back Yard'

Cockerel, hatched Spring 2010 - Great Grandfather Bantam, last one, but some others are Bantam-ish
Miscellaneous Hens
Hen with week old Chicks, early this March

Unique Hen - No Comb, No Waddles

A Great Great Grandfather - one of the 'Special Cases' (10+ years old)
Taking a nap, then up for dinner

Hen Rooster in Back - Rooster 'roosting'
Now - something just for 'academic interest' from Spring 2008
Stubby the One-Legged Grandfather with Chicks - they 'adopted' each other after a Hawk got the Mother Hen

Anyone seen or heard of anything like this before ?
Stubby long gone, but a few of those chicks are still around
Some are in that Group of Brothers/Cousins up top
Again - as you want to learn more, or make arrangements for a 'look see'
